I hired Gateaux to make my engagement cake for my engagement at the Detroit Institute of Art. The cake came out absolutely stunning and equally as tasty! I had guests ask for more the day after the event.. the cake was devoured within minutes I can't thank Suendos , Madeline & her team enough for executing my dreamy cake. Highly recommend!

What a cute little hidden gem I have not tried the miso salted caramel cookie yet because I’m waiting for my sister to try it with me, but how creative! The spinach and cheese croissant needed more flavor to it, but the outside croissant breading was amazing, flaky, and good. The staff was super nice. The whole vibe was beautiful and chic and very French. I did order the almond croissant which I’m about to try now they had a whole host of pastries and drinks that were very inspiring like the pistachio latte. I highly recommend this place. One thing, though I requested a side pat of butter for my croissant and the lady said and I quote… “we do not have any butter.” How is that even possible when you’re preparing croissants, cookies, breads and other baked goodies? nevertheless I would return and recommend that they make little pats of butter available.

This adorable patisserie was walking distance from our hotel and offered a sweet treat in a quaint atmosphere. we tried the Chocolate mousse tart with mirror glaze and a flight of 6 macarons. My husband was amazed at how smooth the chocolate mousse was. The tart was rich and the perfect size for sharing. We took the macarons away with us and later tried the rosewater and the pistachio. They were both delicious, and I was delighted that the rosewater was not overpowering as many times or can be. Open to midnight, this is a great place for a lovely treat in Dearborn.

Gateaux is already a favorite of mine and recently also provided the most beautiful cakes for my wedding. They made my traditional wedding cake and also worked with us to create a full table sheet cake to match beautifully! We went with the pistachio rose water filling and were not disappointed. I would order this again in a heart beat. Thank you for helping make this part of our wedding perfect and delicious!

So Amazing. Everything we have tried here was Fantastic. Definitely worth stopping in. I drive a the way from Toledo to have these Handcrafted treats.

Me and my girls went on February 15th as a Galentines Day treat And OH MY GOSH. We all were in HEAVEN with the goodies we got I got the orange blossom maracon & the Mexican latte. The Mexican has straight cayenne pepper y'all!! My mouth was on ....but it was sooooo good!! And their matcha, iced or hot, is the BEST matcha I've ever had!! I highly recommend this place as a special treat!
